TeamSnap Acquires Team and League Website Solution Provider Rteamsite
Deal will expand TeamSnap services and deliver mobile functionality to Rteamsite users.
- Boulder, CO (1888PressRelease) June 28, 2013 - TeamSnap, the world's No.1 web and mobile team and activity management service, today announced it has acquired Rteamsite, a service providing sports league and team website management solutions to coaches and managers.
TeamSnap acquired Rteamsite.com from Quality Coaching, which will focus on its other web-based coaching and instructional products such as QCBaseball.com.

This deal follows TeamSnap's May 2013 acquisition of Weplay, a company that had raised more than $15 million to develop similar team management applications. The addition of Weplay's 2.25 million customers increased TeamSnap's user base to more than 5 million. The company will now begin to move Rteamsite's teams, clubs and leagues, located primarily in the U.S., Canada and Australia, to the TeamSnap platform.
