  • (1888PressRelease) October 04, 2019 - Infocity has been constantly spreading care and awareness in the society since the time it came into inception. The team Creative Infocity Limited believes that serving people within the community and the society restores and promotes the value of humanity. This year, the IT Park remarked the end of auspicious Shravan month with a yet another noble deed in which the team Infocity visited the blind school named The Service Association for the Blind, on 31st August 2019, located in Sector 16, Gandhinagar. It was not just a visit to the school, Infocity ensured to spread love among the children of the school.

This school was inaugurated in 1995, and it accommodates the children from 80 underprivileged villages around Gujarat. It provides free education to blind children and relies both on government and private donations to work efficiently. It offers comprehensive education from primary to higher secondary level to around 50 boys and girls.

The Service Association for the Blind doesn’t only provide good education to blind children but also ensures that the kids get a perfect platform for their overall wellbeing. With several recreational activities, play area comprising of swings and slides, music classes, art and craft classes, dance classes, frequent picnics, etc., the students studying in this school relish a happy and healthy environment to grow up. The school supports a ‘blind vrudhashram’ too.

Moreover, keeping the disability of the students in mind, the Service Association of the Blind also has a mobility center, home science training center, and a physiotherapy training center. The children studying in this school are highly talented and have several achievement records for participating in events like Khel Mahakumbh, various music competitions, etc.

Team Infocity visited this fantastic school, distributed snacks to the students, and spent quality time with them. Everyone from Infocity who were a part of this visit was delighted after sharing some beautiful moments with the skilled and adorable students of The Service Association for the Blind. Team Infocity also had a conversation with Mr. Jayanti Bhai Patel, the head of the school, who discussed how meaningful and valuable it is to spend time with children rather than merely donating. After spending some precious time with the students of the school, all the members from Infocity felt genuinely content. At the core, it was an excellent opportunity for the team Infocity to do its part in bringing smiles on the faces of the students at The Service Association for the Blind. Infocity aims to involve in many more such activities in the future that can contribute to the betterment of society.
