    By offering over $70,000 in scholarships for the Government Contracting Institute classes, TargetGov and bwtech ( @ ) UMBC have been able to help minority- and women-owned businesses see more success in a growing government marketplace dot Gloria Larkin, President of TargetGov, and Ellen Hemmerly, Executive Director of bwtech ( @ ) UMBC, attended the event and received the finalist certificate and the award itself at the Grand Historic Venue in Baltimore, Maryland on November 14, 2013 dot

    The Government Contracting Institute is a series of courses designed to help businesses in critical aspects of contracting with the government including accounting, GSA Schedules, business development, writing winning proposals, capture strategies, pricing and accounting issues, compliance and legal issues, security clearances and socio-economic certifications.
