  • Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, FL (1888PressRelease) September 30, 2013 - The 21st Annual Networking Night event will be held Thursday, October 24th, 5:30pm - 8:30pm, at the Doubletree by Hilton. We are proud to honor our 2013 Outstanding Woman of The Year, Rhonda Shear, President of Shear Enterprises, LLC. Rhonda spent 25 years in the Hollywood spotlight as an actress, comedienne and host, Rhonda Shear knows a thing or two about making the most of her assets! Star of the popular late night series "USA: Up All Night," Shear learned the art of illusion and camouflage from Hollywood's top costume designers.

In 2003, she and her husband, Van, formed Shear Enterprises, LLC. and her line of intimate apparel has since become known worldwide for its innovation, color and fit. Rhonda appeared on prime time shows Happy Days, The A Team, Dallas and Cheers. Come experience the power of connecting while helping others. There will be great food, a silent auction and a drawing for some great prizes. All proceeds from the evening go to support the scholarship program serving students in the Tampa Bay area. Please see our website for more information on events and how to contact us.

Please join BPW Tampa Bay Wednesday, November 13th. We are honored to have as a guest speaker, Michael L. Jernigan, USMA Ret. On August 22nd 2004, Michael was blinded by a roadside bomb in Iraq. Michael is a Community Outreach Coordinator at Southeastern Guide Dogs. Michael has also been featured in the HBO Documentary Alive Day with James Gandolfini and been a contributing writer for the New York Times online blog Home Fires. He remains active in veteran affairs by representing blind veterans and bringing awareness to the trials faced by our service members that have returned home wounded.

We would like to thank our guest speaker from our September meeting Judy Bistany, interior designer, writer and lifestyle coach/consultant. Judy discussed the creative process and considerations when decorating a home or office.
