  • Chicago, IL (1888PressRelease) January 25, 2019 - Swing King, a technology company that sets up automated hole-in-one contests at golf courses across the country, is donating a total of $108,000 to Make-A-Wish Illinois and Make-A-Wish South Carolina. The firm is donating $56,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois and $52,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of South Carolina. The funds are expected to grant more than six wishes per foundation.

    For the 50+ participating courses in Illinois and South Carolina, Swing King donates 10 percent of profits, 10 percent of hole-in-one prizes, and 100 percent of donations to the respective Make-A-Wish foundations.

    Every year, nearly 1,200 children in Illinois are newly diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition. Since 1985, Make-A-Wish Illinois has granted more than 15,000 wishes.
