Sunrise Management Adds to Executive Team
San Diego-Based Firm Announces New Directors of Human Resources,
Information Systems.
- San Diego, CA (1888PressRelease) December 09, 2015 - San Diego-based Sunrise Management - which has specialized in the management of multifamily properties since 1978 - has added to its executive team, naming Marc Corless director of human resources and Dan Poteet, director of information systems.
According to Joe Greenblatt, president and CEO of Sunrise Management, both Corless and Poteet bring many years of experience in their respective fields. Corless was most recently vice president of human resources for WIS International, while Poteet joins Sunrise after serving as the vice president of information technology for the Greater San Diego Association of Realtors (SDAR).
With a 30-year background in corporate human resources, Corless has also held executive level positions with PETCO Animal Supplies, Liquid Investments and Cipher Data Products. He has significant expertise on a multi-state level and will lead and develop human resources operations for Sunrise locally and regionally.
"As we continue to expand throughout the west, Marc will spearhead organizational development, strategic planning, employee retention/relations, risk management, talent acquisition and much more," said Greenblatt. "We are thrilled to have him on our team."
A resident of Poway, Corless holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and sociology from San Diego State University.
Poteet will manage and direct all technology and business operations for Sunrise, establishing a comprehensive information technology systems plan and vision for both internal and external operations. "Dan has an extensive technology management background in a diversity of industries, and his expertise will be invaluable to us as we continue to expand operations and introduce new technology systems to support our properties and corporate offices," Greenblatt said.
In addition to his role with SDAR, Poteet has held senior level IT positions for a wide range of companies - among them Infor Software and FFF Enterprises - and also ran an information technology consulting business for many years, providing technology solutions for clients in a range of industries. Poteet is a resident of Rancho Penasquitos.
