  • Miami, FL (1888PressRelease) July 26, 2014 - The fourth annual Style Saves Swim Fashion Show Fundraiser was sold out as more than 400 guests supported this year's spectacular event in an effort to raise funds for underprivileged children of the Miami-Dade school system. The organization surpassed its $100,000 benchmark goal by more than $3,200 in preparation for its Back-to-School In Style event which will take place at the Adrienne Arsht Center next month.

On Friday, July 18, celebrities, socialites, tastemakers and fashion-lovers poured into the exclusive Soho Beach House to gather around the pool for back-to-back designer shows by Trina Turk, ishine365 and more. Thirst was quenched with an open bar sponsored by Grey Goose Vodka, Peroni, Aquaçai and Red Bull and guests noshed on cupcakes by Stella's Sweet Shoppe.

Angela Simmons worked the runway as the official Style Saves Swim celebrity host and shared her passion for what the organization does before introducing the lineup of designers. Style Saves founder, Rachael Russell, also joined Simmons on stage to say a few words about the organization and how the show directly supports their efforts to give back to the community.

The show opened with a capsule collection of colorful swimwear and resort looks from Style Mafia, Kai Lani, Ola Feroz and a debut by Santika. Transitioning into the distinctive, print-heavy styles of Trina Turk, playful patterns and spirited models filled the runway, and finally iShine365 took to the stage showing off sexy swimsuits rocked with cheeky sass.

The front row was lined with notable VIPs that included the Real Housewives of Miami's Marysol Patton, Real Housewives of New York City's Countess LuAnn DeLesseps, Alexandra Wilkis and Alexis Maybank of Gilt Groupe, actor Vincent de Paul and socialites Amarlis Jones and Janice Combs.

Style Saves dedicates all funds to their annual Back-to-School In Style event, which offers students the opportunity to shop for outfits in a department store-style environment. This year, the event will be hosted at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami on August 17-18, and will benefit more than 500 students from area Miami-Dade public schools.
