Strathallan Acquires The Century Club of Rochester

Rochester, NY (1888PressRelease) November 24, 2015 - The Strathallan is excited to announce it has acquired The Century Club of Rochester, the historic mansion located on East Avenue, just across the street from the Strathallan Hotel. The property was purchased by Dave Crista and Robert Morgan, business partners with several joint ventures, including the Strathallan Hotel and, most recently, the Canandaigua Finger Lakes Resort.

"People will really enjoy the warm, rich atmosphere of this venue," said Christa. "And when paired with the Strathallan's world-class service and exceptional cuisine, The Century Club at the Strathallan will offer guests an all around exceptional experience."

While some aesthetic renovations are underway, Christa and Morgan are committed to maintaining the mansion's authentic Victorian charm. The Strathallan is now booking the space for various types of gatherings, including corporate and community banquets, weddings and other special events.

Built in 1896 as the private residence of Albrecht Vogt, the mansion was designed for entertaining, featuring parlors, multiple dining areas, a ballroom, a spacious porch and a picturesque garden for outdoor events.
