"Porter Wagoners' songs will carry on in us like an everlasting sunset. I had spoken with Porter just a few days before his 80th birthday to record this interview. What was meant to be a one hour feature promoting his new Wagonmaster CD, has instead been rewritten into a special one-hour-farewell tribute for a gentleman who spent his lifetime creating for us, and in his words proclaimed, 'It's the best album I've made in my whole career.' I promise that you won't be alone if a few tears suddenly fall from your eyes as he sings. Don't miss these last words of this country legend. Porter was a man who wrote us a collection of unforgettable songs during his decades of struggles and victories to reach his dreams. Porter taught me his greatest gifts were not only his songs to the world, but during this last interview with me, he showed me he was a messenger of heavenly love; he was the Wagonmaster of these Stories Last Shared. God Bless you Porter Wagoner."
