Star Basketball Player Jason Thompson and the Camden Riversharks Host Fundraiser Baseball Game

  • Camden, NJ (1888PressRelease) August 16, 2011 - On Saturday August 20th, 2011, professional basketball player Jason Thompson will host a fundraiser baseball game with the Camden Riversharks at Campbell's field located at 401 N. Delaware Avenue, Camden, NJ beginning at 5:30 PM.

    In support of L.I.V.E. Like JT - a campaign designed to encourage children to strive towards academic and social excellence, the Rivershark roster will wear custom Jerseys bearing Jason Thompson's logo. The game-worn jerseys will be up for bid during a silent auction which will go live in the seventh inning of the game. Proceeds from the winning bids will benefit the cause. The night will conclude with a firework display that will illuminate the waterfront skyline.

    Jason Thompson launched the L.I.V.E. Like JT Campaign to afford impressionable youth the opportunity to excel academically as well as socially.
