  • (1888PressRelease) December 16, 2010 - BASF’s management is rewarding its employees for their extraordinary team effort in bringing our company successfully through the crisis. The Board of Executive Directors has approved €50 million as a special payment to employees worldwide.

    “Through our combined efforts, we successfully brought our company through the crisis and have once again made BASF strong. We will achieve record earnings and once again earn a premium on our cost of capital. This success was only possible through our employees’ team spirit, high level of flexibility and their outstanding effort. We can all be very proud of what we have achieved,” stated Dr. Jürgen Hambrecht, Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors in his year-end letter to employees.

    The individual amount for employees will be determined at a later date by the local BASF companies.
