SPaN Plans Fourth Monthly Free After Hours Referral Networking Event
SPaN, the Succcessful Professionals alliance Network will be hosting their fourth monthly SPaN After Hours event on Thursday evening, October 21, 2010 at the Holiday Inn Lakewood Ranch & Alamo Steak House in the Osprey Room from 5:30 to 7:30 PM, located at 6231 Lake Osprey Drive, Sarasota, FL. Following up on September's event with over 260 attendees is a major goal.

According to Steven Husak, Founder of SPaN., "Our organization follows a simple program. First, everything we do is free for everybody. We are all about helping each other by growing our businesses through referrals. Even table top displays at the After Hours Event are free to members that attend 2 other meetings per month and enroll for free on our site at www.meetup.com/SPaNetwork. Our members are known as the SPaNtastics.
"We accept members from all lines of business." Husak continued. "We are here to help each other grow our businesses by referrals, not to sell services, products or business opportunities to our fellow members. We learn about the businesses of other members so that when we see an opportunity for them we recognize it and bring the parties together. This is far stronger than a 'leads' group. Just this past week at the Sarasota group we had 56 referrals shared.
Mr. Husak continued, "Span's monthly After Hours Event moves from venue to venue and is held on the third Thursday of each month. It is the brainchild of SPaN member Charlie McCullough, owner of Mac's Barter Store and The Philadelphian Restaurant in Bradenton, and has become our centerpiece event. We have had door prizes such as cruises, weekend getaways, fine jewelry and even personal training. It just seems to get bigger every month. Last month we lost count after 260 attendees…all free!"
About SPaN
SPaN was founded in February 2009 by Steven Husak. Today there are three group meetings per week. Tuesday in Palmetto, Wednesday in Bradenton and Thursday in Sarasota in addition to the after hours event on the third Thursday of each month.
