  • Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN-WI (1888PressRelease) May 29, 2013 - The Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce (SPACC) and Brandography, a Minneapolis Internet marketing agency, recently announced the winner for their co-sponsored "Doggone Worst Website" contest, a digital makeover competition. Now, they are revealing a sneak peek of their progress.

After advancing to the top five finalists, Oak Meadows, a non-profit independent and assisted senior living community, took the title as "Doggone Worst Website." The site, oak-meadows.org, received several hundred votes. The prize behind the title includes $10,000 worth of marketing and design services from Brandography.

As the online marketing consultants work on Oak Meadows' website, Brandography will be co-hosting a blog series with the SPACC to educate local businesses on digital online marketing. Oak Meadows' transformation will be the example behind blog posts that explain to readers how to do online marketing as well as tips on websites for online businesses. This falls into the SPACC's greater mission of improving, assisting, and developing the Twin Cities business community as a whole.

The first post in the series is now available at brandography.com/blog, and gives a sneak peek at the progress made on the new website after only one week. It covers Brandography's first meeting with Oak Meadows, teaching readers what key questions to ask when setting up a foundation for online marketing and advertising.

The full makeover will be completed in 45 days or less. During that time, blog posts will go up with further progress reports as well as tips and tricks to help readers with their own understanding and application of solid online advertising and marketing principles.
