SourceEdge will raise INR 10 crore on Exhilway Private Capital Market (EPCM) to fund the product development and the marketing of the planned product.

    BA Studio is a fifth generation software development RAD tool. It can be used to build enterprise grade desktop, web and cloud applications without any programming skills. The unique innovation of BA Studio is to automate the complete software development life cycle.

    BA Studio can reduce the cost of development by over 75% and can save upto 80% development time as it considerably cuts down on buggy programming.

    "This product looks like a dream to me, it is still in testing phase but I am sure this company could be another Microsoft in the making. Developers need this software desperately and the companies will find it interesting as they will be able to save handful of money," said Isabelle Cavender, a freelancer on elance.com.

    SourceEdge will list on EPCM this month and will commence fund raising in mid September. The company is valued at US $19.3 million or INR 108 crore. The company will keep 10% of its equity on sale and will raise money via EPCM private equity fund.

There will be no requirement of assembling large teams to get the coding done as BA Studio uses the declarative programming technique, where the programmer specify what he wants, code is generated, hence no need of testing and avoids substantially time on testing, also the developed product or solution using BA Studio will be of better quality" said Rajesh MR CEO of SourceEdge.

    SourceEdge is a team of over hundred people and have sales offices in New Jersey, Dubai, Belgium and Finland.
