(1888PressRelease) June 17, 2022 - Soundclick.com was set up in 1997 by twin brothers Tanju and Tolgar Canli in the days when all artist pages and links were written by hand. The aim was to provide a platform for independent artists to promote themselves and showcase their music. In 2007 the brothers added a social networking element to the site, and in keeping up with current trends, they have maintained a slick, modern design with promotional tools that include an artist page, social networking page, song players, photographs and blogs.

Unlike some music websites, soundclick.com permits unlimited free song uploads. The Canli brothers take a hands-on approach to running the site alongside their small enthusiastic team. Their dedication and passion for supporting independent musicians has seen them succeed where many music websites have failed in the past. On August 13th 2022 they will be celebrating 25 successful years and are asking independent musicians to create a song to mark the occasion.

Anyone can join soundclick.com and enter the song contest for free. The 3 top songs will be awarded prizes including a "gold pro" account at the site along with on-site promotional advertisements. The contest will be hosted by The Clickers Club, an online musician's club run by volunteers and soundclick.com artists.

Song entries can be in any style or genre, with or without words, but must include the word "soundclick" either spoken or sung within the song. The idea is to create something to celebrate the site and it's 25 years as the hub of independent music. The deadline for entries is August 5th 2022.
