  • (1888PressRelease) October 04, 2026 - Sanskriti Labs, a Bengaluru-based company, has launched Snaprint, a self-service print kiosk built to operate inside existing xerox and stationery shops. The S1 kiosk lets a customer scan a QR code, upload a document from their phone, pay through UPI, and collect finished prints in under a minute, without needing anyone behind the counter to process the order. The idea grew out of a workflow that already exists across India's retail printing trade. Xerox shop owners routinely receive print requests over WhatsApp, where a customer sends a file and asks for it to be printed and set aside for pickup. That informal system captures real demand, but it only works when someone at the shop is free to see the message, print the document, and handle payment. When the shop is closed, busy, or short-staffed, the order is lost. Snaprint moves that entire process onto a kiosk that runs continuously without staff involvement.

Shop owners buy the S1 hardware as a one-time purchase rather than paying a subscription or a cut of every print job. Three configurations are available, priced between Rs 84,999 and Rs 2,99,999 before 18% GST, and the only per-transaction cost afterward is the standard UPI payment processing fee charged by the bank. Each unit is built with a 15.6 inch touchscreen and a 2000-sheet paper tray sized for unattended, high-volume use, and owners can check revenue, print counts, and consumable levels remotely from a phone dashboard rather than checking the machine in person. Files uploaded to the kiosk are encrypted end to end and deleted automatically once printing finishes.

"We didn't invent a new category, we automated one that already existed," said Abhishek Rajpurohit, co-founder of Snaprint. "Every xerox shop owner already knows this demand is there. The kiosk just lets them capture it without needing a person behind the counter to do it."

Snaprint is live in Bengaluru today, with Sanskriti Labs handling installation and owner training on-site as part of the purchase. The company was founded by Goutham Singh and Abhishek Rajpurohit and plans to expand to additional Indian cities over time. More information is available at https://snaprints.com.
