  • (1888PressRelease) March 09, 2011 - Beijing China - SinoTech Group (www.sinotechgroup.com.cn) and Stratburg Market Research and Consulting Pvt. Ltd (www.stratburg.com) announced today the commencement of their new partnership.

Both India and China represent the fastest growing consumer markets in the world. With GDP growths of over 8% predicted for both countries for 2011; business can no longer afford to work in geographic silos.

Leading the charge on taking Chinese technology and services into India is SinoTech Group, China's leading social intelligence technology and consultancy firm. It has selected Stratburg Market Research and Consulting Pvt. Ltd, a company that is based in the Silicon Valley of the East, Bangalore, to be its Indian face.

Under this 2 year strategic partnership, Stratburg will be selling the SIP: Enterprise product for Indian companies to monitor and mine information throughout the Internet (across the Chinese and Western Net) to gain greater understandings about Brand health, reputation and consumer awareness.

"I am very excited about this partnership with Stratburg. India is just one territory that can't be ignored and given our social intelligence technology crosses most Internet languages and covers more than 120 millions sites, we see this partnership as giving us the ability to reach new customers and take our solutions into a new range of sectors", said Dr. Mathew McDougall, CEO and founder of SinoTech Group.

Stratburg CEO Gappan Annamalai stated, "SinoTech's products are a marketer's dream and a must for businesses investing in social media and online marketing. Companies around the globe are already investing heavily in connecting with audiences using social media and India is following this trend. India is now an online power house with over 71 million internet users, growing at over 22% a year. Over 70% of these users have visited social media sites, and spend approximately 130 minutes a month on social media sites. Therefore, Indian Brands need to recognise that they are already be 'talked about' online and more importantly the failure to understand this may result in Brand damage or worse; the loss of sales and customers. SIP:Enterprise will help companies ensure that they are on the right track."

Stratburg, whose tagline is the home of strategy, will look to localize some aspects of the products before they are launched into the Indian market. Gappan says the comprehensive tool (full license) will be available in the Indian market as early as Mid-March. A specialized industry focus version (custom license) with limited features targeted at smaller and local players will be available by the end of April 2011.
