Singer-songwriter Jane Badler Will Release A New Single March 3rd
Jane Badler is gearing up for the world premiere of her new single, "Volcano Boy", and a remixes EP preceding her new album.
- (1888PressRelease) February 03, 2014 - New York, NY - Cult figure, Sci-Fi icon, and critically acclaimed songstress of the international scene, Jane Badler, gets set to take her artistry and theatricality to a whole new level, with a March 3rd world premiere of the new single Volcano Boy.
Volcano Boy was produced and mixed by Grammy-winning producer Jeff Bova, known for his contributions to hundreds of recordings by significant mainstream artists like Katy Perry, Michael Jackson, Celine Dion, Luther Vandross, Eric Clapton, Robert Palmer, Billy Joel, The Bee Gees, Cher, Cyndi Lauper, and many more.
In addition to Jeff on keyboards, he is joined by legendary guitarist Tim Pierce, and LA's most in-demand percussionist Rafa Padilla. Jane is joined on background vocals by the Rolling Stones own Bernard Fowler, with Carol Hatchett of Bette Midler's Harlettes.
Volcano Boy and the upcoming full-length album was recorded and mixed at Jeff Bova's Bovaland Studio in the heart of West Hollywood, CA, and mastered at Marcussen Mastering. 3 Remixes of Volcano Boy were contributed by Hi Society, Junksista, and The Bakery.
Jane's manager and distributor will be attending MIDEM, the international music exhibition, in Cannes, France on February 1-4, and are happy to meet with anyone interested.
About Jane Badler:
Jane grew up in New York before moving to Manchester, NH. While there, she won the title of Miss New Hampshire and competed at the 1973 Miss America Pageant. Subsequently, she enrolled at Northwestern University in Illinois to study drama. She went on to pursue a profession in acting which saw much success when she landed the role of Diana in the cult-classic television show 'V'. Among starring in other well-known television series, Jane has released two full-length albums and multiple singles.
