  • (1888PressRelease) October 18, 2014 - The awards are run by the Customer Service Institute of Australia (CSIA), and are renowned as being the highest national achievement for the provision of customer services, operational excellence and quality management. Signet was the only Australian company operating in the manufacturing and distribution industry to win an award at the event.

    According to Signet General Manager John King, the win is testament to Signet's continuous improvement journey to providing quality customer services that rival some of Australia's largest organisations.

    "There is no doubt that economically, a lot of businesses are doing it tough and in a lot of cases customer service has probably suffered as a result," said Mr King. "Rather than scaling back on our customer service efforts we have invested even more into new ideas and innovations that add real value for our customers and differentiate us from the competition.

    "With over 700 businesses up for nomination across all sectors and industries it just goes to show that Australia's business landscape is more competitive than ever and businesses are needing to do more to become customers' first choice," he added.

    The award winners were chosen from Australia's most successful customer service organisations with other winners including Telstra, Sunsuper, American Express and Reload Media.

    Signet continues to drive stronger relationships with customers by using a mixture of new technologies and traditional customer service strategies, which according to Mr King are already driving strong growth within the organisation.
