  • Durham, NC (1888PressRelease) September 21, 2011 - Signalman Publishing is proud to announce the release in paperback and as an ebook for the Amazon Kindle, the Barnes & Noble nook and the Apple iBookstore, of "Common Sense Solutions to Real Problems" by mathematician and educator Richard Forringer of Durham NC. Based upon the author's rational and logical problem solving approach that he has learned and taught for forty years, in this book he applies a set of principles against four issues that are vexing the nation today that could lead to a significant advance in the public policy discourse:

    1) Education: how can we provide an environment for our kids that is conducive to actually learning?
    2) How do we solve our energy problems?
    3) What is the "war" on drugs really doing? Has it ever worked, and can we do something better?
    4) The recent federal budget and debt ceiling crisis are merely the rumblings of far worse to come.
There are no easy or simple solutions to these major national issues, however, the author brings a fresh, common sense approach that, if implemented, could go a long way to addressing these important challenges.

"Common Sense Solutions to Real Problems" is an important book for those who are tired of the same old solutions to the same problems and are looking for new ideas. This should be required reading not just for everyone involved in making public policy, but for every American who is concerned about our nation and where we are headed.

"Common Sense Solutions to Real Problems" (ISBN: 978-1-935991-16-8, $12.99, Non-fiction/Public Policy) from indie book publisher Signalman, is distributed through Amazon, Barnes & Noble.com, and the Apple iBookstore.
