According to State Project Coordinator Dr. Joe Wilson of Opelousas, "Basic nutritional health is important to everyone, yet many in communities throughout Louisiana do not have enough to eat.

Suggested items include canned meat/fish/poultry, canned fruits and vegetables, bags of rice and dried beans, powdered milk, cereal, jars of baby food, peanut butter, and jello.
