- (1888PressRelease) May 12, 2011 - The Run for Clean Air is a combination of an air quality-awareness event for East Tennessee and a fundraiser for the East Tennessee Clean Fuels Coalition. Rain or shine, Shockwave Motors will have the Defiant EV3 Roadster© there. Our electric roadster is a ground-up design with the goal of creating a highly efficient electric car able to carry a driver and two passengers at highway speeds (in excess of 75 MPH), with a daily range of up to 100 miles. Stop by and visit us the morning of Saturday, May 14th at Sequoyah Hills Park in Knoxville, TN and see our electric roadster that gets the equivalent of over 225 miles per gallon at highway speeds.
