    Dr. Shireen Meer has more than 17 years of research, teaching and consulting experience. She is an economist in the Washington DC office of the Berkeley Research Group (BRG). She specializes in the application of economic analysis to litigation and consulting matters and has provided expert consulting services on issues including economic analysis of class certification issues, analysis of economic damages in commercial litigation, breach of contract, intellectual property, product liability, healthcare reimbursement and economic analysis in support of government investigations in the healthcare and pharma space. Dr. Meer was recognized as a Future Leader Consulting Expert by Who’s Who Legal in 2018 and 2019. She has been accepted as an economic expert in state court and has been retained as an arbitrator in alternative dispute resolution proceedings for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Her scholarly research has been published in peer reviewed and professional publications. Dr. Meer has a BSc (Honors) in economics with a minor in mathematics from the Lahore University of Management Sciences and a Masters and PhD in economics from Emory University
