  • Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) October 09, 2012 - On Saturday October 6, 2012 talk show Tips and Tea officially began its production in Los Angeles. A slew of LA locals filled the venue to watch the live taping which consisted of interviews with the star of Bounce TV's hit sitcom "Family Time", Tanjareen Martin, The Lifetime Network's "Prank My Mom" star Sydney Castillo, rising R&B singer Chyno Soul, and controversial former drug kingpin Freeway Rick Ross. The audience also enjoyed a live music performance from an LA favorite, Kevin Sandbloom. On the mic keeping the audience entertained between interviews was one of LA's funniest female comics, Kanisha Buss.

Executive produced by Sha Dixon and co-produced by comedian B.T. Kingsley, the production concluded without a hitch. " I loved the taping! Sha Dixon asked the questions we wanted and needed to know. She is a mix between Oprah and Wendy Williams," said audience member, Marvelyn Brown.

The show will be filmed once a month at The Bistro on Pico and will remain open to the public. Tips and Tea aired regionally on Comcast Cable for 3 seasons and is currently in the process of being picked up by a major television network for national syndication.
