  • Albany, GA (1888PressRelease) September 19, 2013 - School of Wash, the leader in handmade bath products recently completed a partnership with local nonprofit Lily Pad to donate 41 bags of handmade bath products to victims of physical and sexual abuse. Lily Pad is regionally recognized for its delivery of wide-ranging services to victims and families impacted by crimes of sexual assault and child sexual/physical abuse. Services provided are specialized to meet the needs of each individual impacted by crimes of sexual violence, and there is no charge to victims that receive direct services from the Lily Pad.

    School of Wash is working diligently to provide Sunshine Bags for every victim, which will be approximately 550 per year in a 32 county area. Each person will be benefited a bag of scented bath products with the intent to promote a sense of calm and healing. School of Wash founder Rebekah Davis commented, "From partnering with Lily Pad, we've found that most times the first thing victims of physical and sexual abuse want to do is bathe, and we feel it's our duty to support these victims the best way we know how." A Sunshine Bag consists of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in a variety of amazing scents all meant to bring a smile to the face of someone in pain.
