Tanya N. Helfand discussed divorce tips.

In a wide-ranging interview, Helfand discussed a new, optional marital law for couples in Arizona, Arkansas, and Louisiana - Covenant Marriage. “My opinion of that is, I think the premarital counseling is phenomenal. I think that is a magical idea. People should do this anyway, with or without the law.” The law would require couples to go through 5 hours of couples counseling prior to marriage, and agree to more counseling, if needed. It also eliminates no-fault divorce.
During the interview, Helfand discussed the role technology now plays during the divorce process, noting “Think before you send, because people don't realize that any text message, any email they send, any Facebook junk they put can be used as evidence in a court of law, usually against them.”
