The SDCA’s goal is to improve the quality of life in San Diego by aiding local businesses, medical & education professionals, and social services to help people in need with career development and training.

    Heroes Helping Heroes is a grassroots social enterprise (501(c)3) that helps Veterans and 1st Responders with Behavioral Health, Suicide Prevention, and Homelessness. Their mission is to serve and support these Heroes & their families suffering from the silent wounds of 1st-Hand and 2nd-Hand PTSD by offering a lifeline of healing that moves them past PTSD to PTG ~ Post Traumatic Growth.

    The holiday season will be a little brighter this year, thanks to the efforts of the SDCA and Heroes Helping Heroes 4 Life. The second annual Turkey & Toy Giveaway will benefit the kids and families of the San Diego Community. The drive-up event will be held at the Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation at 404 Euclid Avenue, San Diego, CA 92114. The SDCA is comprised of a fantastic team dedicated and committed to helping those in need, led by Xavier Mitchell, SDCA Founder. Heroes Helping Heroes is a veteran, 1st responder, and minority-owned Social Enterprise that helps homeless veterans and their families become better selves with housing and employment.

    THIS PAST JULY, the SDCA hosted a FREE Youth Community Carnival that brought rides and games to the San Diego Community. And, this Christmas, they will continue to spread the giving spirit by giving away turkeys & toys to families and children in need. The event is free to attend.
