  • Little Rock-North Little Rock, AR (1888PressRelease) January 11, 2013 - The Arkansas Mississippi Minority Supplier Development Council(AMMSDC) held its annual board retreat in Jackson, MS on December 6, 2012 and elected new members to the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors.

    Salah Khalaf of Sam's Club/Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. was elected Chairman of the Board, John Munson of Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America was elected Vice Chair, Kedrin Edgerson of Pepsico/Frito-Lay was named Treasurer and Cyla C. Rome of Entergy was elected Secretary.

    With more than 12 years at Sam's Club/Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., Mr. Khalaf is currently the senior manager for supplier diversity. His strong merchandising, operations, and negotiation skills led to increased sales and profit in the areas of responsibility.
