  • (1888PressRelease) March 16, 2012 - Carrollton, Georgia - A small, independent IOS development business, Rowdyapps.net specializes in creating both IOS games for both iPad and iPhone owners, as well as designing apps for small businesses.

Rowdyapps.net has also launched a free and a paid version of the game app, "Dog Chase," with expanded capabilities, multiple characters, levels and two lands. The full and complete game can be found at: http://tinyurl.com/6uokdto while the free, lite version is located at: http://tinyurl.com/744wwob

"Dog Chase is the ultimate game of catch that is 'pawsitively' addictive," said creator Debbie Ray for Rowdyapps. The action game stars three lovable canines just out for a little romp in the park, Max the Tibetan terrier, Dewey the beagle and Sophie the collie. The object of the game is to help Max, Dewey and Sophie safely travel through the park, as they collect dog treats and unlock magic items that will help them along their path.

The game gets dicey and much more tricky as players must help their dogs evade the advances of fussy squirrels, angry ducks, wicked pigeons and a host of other enemies. "But there's more," Ray said, "there also are mud puddles, bombs and even a persistent and sinister dog catcher lying in wait for our cute threesome."

Dog Chase is instantly playable and, while simple to control, it is challenging and not an easy game. Players simply tilt their iPhone or iPad device left or right to control the cute little doggies on their path through the park.

The dogs must collect as many doggie biscuits, tennis balls and other doggie treats as they can before getting caught by enemy park dwellers, the dog catcher or other challenging obstacles like the ever-surprising TNT package. The treats allow players to unlock several special in-game achievements and they can compete with players all over the world on OpenFeint!

"Who knows, maybe you will get the highest Dog Chase score ever," Ray said, but added, "Don't get too cheeky though! Dog Chase may be easy to learn, but it can be hard to master." The new game will be available in the U.S. app store in iTunes, at in other parts of the world by mid-March 2012.

The website for the game is located at: http://www.rowdyapps.net/, and a video of the game and how it works can be viewed at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-lExCLAW48w

Dog Chase also supports Facebook and Openfeint status posting where players can show off and brag about their scores.
