On 24 March, 2015, the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan entered into the Intergovernmental Agreement on cooperation in construction and operation of a nuclear power plant on the territory of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
