  • (1888PressRelease) November 07, 2013 - Asheville, North Carolina - RON E ARMSTRONG of AshevilleAndBeyond Real Estate with Keller Williams Professionals joined over 100 top real estate professionals, serving the upscale residential market, who converged the last week of October at The Four Seasons Hotel in Seattle (WA) for The Institute of Luxury Home Marketing's annual Leaders in Luxury (LIL) conference.

According to Armstrong, who earned his Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS) designation earlier this year, the exclusive event was an invitation-only educational and networking opportunity for real estate professionals who handle million and multi-million dollar homes and estates. "This prestigious conference helps me deliver better service by providing cutting-edge information on what's happening in the luxury market segment, offering insights on best practices in the business, and creating valuable networking opportunities," said Armstrong.

"Leaders in Luxury attendance is limited to proven professionals in the luxury home niche," said Laurie Moore-Moore, Founder of The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing, the host company. "This gives LIL attendees the opportunity to build an exclusive network of contacts focused on the upscale residential industry, while sharing with the best in the business. Since competency is the key to working successfully with the luxury buyer and seller," added Moore-Moore, "LIL is designed to provide attendees with important knowledge and insights, giving them a competitive edge in meeting the needs of the affluent."

"Attending the Leaders in Luxury event is an investment for my clients," said Armstrong. "By networking with the best in the business, sharing ideas, and discovering the latest trends, I can help my affluent clients find success where others are finding challenges."

Leaders in Luxury's keynote speakers included Ken DeLeon of DeLeon Realty, who represented the Russian billionaire buyer in the record-setting $100 million residential sale of California's Silicon Valley in 2011, as well as New York City top producer Patrick Lilly from the Manhattan boutique brokerage CORE. Also keynoting at the event was Brian Dennehy, Chief Marketing Officer for luxury retailer Nordstrom, Inc. Armstrong was one of the top luxury agents from the U.S. and Canada who participated in presentations and panel discussions. In fact, this was Armstrong's third attendance at the annual LIL conference and invitation to speak on the panel.

Among his many official designations, Armstrong is also known as an innovative strategist in technology and marketing. He has spoken on technology panels numerous times in the past. Highly accomplished in top-quality marketing, Armstrong sold a multi-million dollar listing earlier this year, The Bower House, as a direct result of his powerful and unique marketing approach. The buyer himself told Armstrong at the closing table, "Your marketing touched two tenets my wife and I hold dear - transparency and goodness." Add that The Bower House sold for 95% of listing price and since the regional market sales show properties over $1 million typically sell for only 87.2% of the last listed price, this was an exceptional feat for Armstrong as a Luxury Listing Specialist in the Western North Carolina market.

Armstrong firmly believes that his consistent participation in luxury events such as the annual LIL conference, as well as many other educational and networking commitments that Armstrong regularly attends year-round, contributes to his success as a luxury agent. Armstrong's most recent luxury sale closed less than six weeks ago. Armstrong sold this home at full price in only 12 days.
