After being the first to host a bachata social in San Francisco, this long running once-a-month gig just turned into an exciting weekly event every Tuesday at the Glas Kat.

Starting on September 7, 2010, at the Glas Kat Nightclub in San Francisco, the popular once-a-month bachata party will be on fire with dance lesson, performances, and social dancing. Every Tuesday night, bachata music and dancing will occur upstairs inside Glas Kat. The Bachata Social, will be showcasing the San Francisco Bay Area's top bachata dance teachers and DJs, all takes place in San Francisco's famous Glas Kat nightclub, in the SOMA area of San Francisco.
As reality TV shows continue to shine the spotlight on learning to dance, and bachata dance maintains, and even widens, its lead as the new social dance style, bachata dancing continues to become increasingly popular, both as a style of music, and as a dance.
