RJF Team Cares Honored to Present Donations to Project Care Case, STARRY & Pick With Austin

Austin-San Marcos, TX (1888PressRelease) April 16, 2016 - RJF Team Cares, a 501c3 charity, proudly presented donation checks on Wednesday, April 13, to Pick with Austin, Starry, and Project Care Case in connection with the first month Community Vote initiative previously held in March. RJF Team Cares donated over $6,300 between the three charities.

"It was very exciting to give over $6,300 and knowing that we can do this every other month," Robert J Fischer, founder and board member of RJF Team Cares, said. "And we've only just begun!"

RJF Team Cares started in January as a way to provide assistance and awareness to those in need in the Greater Austin area. With the help of corporate partners including Emerald Lawns and the Robert J Fischer Team, the charity hosts a community vote six times a year with three nominated charities, churches or families in need receiving a portion of each month's donations. Nominations are accepted from the public during select nomination periods, and the month-long community vote is open to everyone. Nominations are currently open for local churches and missions through April 18th with the next voting period starting May 1st.

"Our goal wasn't just to give financial support to these great charities, but to bring awareness to the needs out there so others can be encouraged to give back as well," Fischer said. "We've been blessed to be a small part of these people's journeys to help in their endeavors to better our communities and lessen hardship."

RJF Team Cares, in partnership with the Robert J Fischer Team and Emerald Lawns, wants to provide assistance and awareness to those in need. The Robert J Fischer Team wants to join with the community to give back and provide a way to support those who need a helping hand. As part of this mission, RJF Team Cares pledges to give away a cash donation to a worthy charity, church or family in need based on the nominations and votes of the local community.
