Cohen, who has more than 30 years of experience as a corporate executive, consultant and general counsel, will speak the opening day of the conference on September 19, at 1:45 pm CT. His session, titled "The Importance of Day-to-Day Processes, Management Skills, Swimming Upstream: Information Management and Governance," will focus on meeting the challenges of the left side of the EDRM and the skills needed to address them.

Rich Cohen, president, leads RenewData's external activities and client advisory service functions. He brings more than 30 years of management and legal experience as a corporate executive, consultant, and general counsel to RenewData. He has served as the president of the American Corporate Counsel Association in Ohio and currently serves as the editor-in-chief of the Electricity Journal. He is a member of the American and Ohio State Bar Associations, and has chaired the American Bar Association's Coordinating Group on Energy Law, co-chaired the American Bankruptcy Institute's Mass Torts Subcommittee, and has been a member of the ABA Class Actions/Derivative Suits Subcommittee. Mr. Cohen is a member of the Corporate Counsel Advisory Board for The Metropolitan Corporate Counsel and a recipient of the Distinguished Legal Service Award conferred by Corporate Legal Times. Mr. Cohen holds a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a Juris Doctor from the University of Akron School of Law.
