    More than 9,700 Nashville area residents have taken advantage of Remington College's low or no cost dental services in the past two years.

    Under the supervision of instructors, students pursuing associate's degrees in dental hygiene perform low-cost procedures for the public, including:

    • Oral prophylaxis (cleaning) and topical fluoride treatments
    • X-rays
    • Scaling and root planing
    • ToothPrint child identification impressions
    • Oral cancer screenings
    • Dental Sealants

    The Remington College Dental Hygiene Program can be completed in as few as 24-months and is an accredited program designed to help prepare students for careers as dental hygienists.(2) Instructors have real world experience in the dental hygiene field, and course offerings include Preclinical Dental Hygiene Practice, Oral and Dental Anatomy, Nutrition and Biochemistry and Oral Radiology.

    Thursdays: 9:00 am-12:00 pm and 1:00 pm-5:00 pm

There are other applicable fees for x-rays that will be charged if the doctor warrants them necessary as part of the exam and diagnosis. Any and all radiographs will be charged according to the dentist on staff prescribing them before any cleanings can be provided.

    (2) Employment not guaranteed for students or graduates. State licensure may be required after graduation. The Dental Hygiene program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
