Remington College Cosmetology Programs Offer Haircut, Manicure or Pedicure for Food Drive Donations

  • Orlando, FL (1888PressRelease) November 03, 2012 - Remington College is holding food drives on several of its campuses to benefit local food banks and offering a haircut, manicure or pedicure to anyone who brings in a can of food or other non-perishable food donation.

    The effort is called Cuts for Cause and will run throughout the month of November. This is the third year for the community outreach program, created to help feed families during the holiday season.

    The salon services will be provided by students and instructors in the Remington College Cosmetology Program.

    The Remington College Cosmetology Diploma Program teaches students the art of hair, skin and nail care through traditional classroom instruction and hands-on training. Students have the opportunity to work with real clients in a salon-like setting.

    The program is available at thirteen Remington College campuses: Baton Rouge, Memphis, Tampa, Houston (three locations), Cleveland (Cleveland Campus, 14445 Broadway Ave., OH Reg # 11-01-1958T), Mobile, Lafayette, Nashville (Nashville Campus, 441 Donelson Pike, Nashville, TN), Dallas, Columbia (South Carolina, 607 Bush River Road), and Honolulu.
