  • (1888PressRelease) September 06, 2019 - Artists are bestowed with a kind of imagination and ability to sense things that are not visible to the naked eyes. Truth is a matter of fact to some but, for an artist, truth is a matter of perspective. He sees things that don’t exist and people who lie beyond the dimensions of existing reality. Art is a channel for an artist to reveal the ideal beauty and sometimes to conceal it and show the true nature of things that is not always pleasing to the eyes.

Amit Kalla creates on canvas vivid imagery of his imagination with vibrant and jovial colors. It seems that through his artworks he attempts to reimagine the meaning of artistic beauty and radiate something revolutionizing out of the box.

According to him, “I think when I was growing up as a kid in Jaipur, I experienced that in all childhood activities, everything was directionless, but I realized later that even with directionlessness, there was a sequence and that sequence was decided by the inherent constant passion to touch every experience possible in the world without understanding and knowing that incompleteness is a social sin”.

Here he realizes that he was also susceptible to committing this sin of incompleteness. But, that gave him to metamorphose his thoughts to reveal the new discourse in his works. He beautifully says that even when we are going directionless, there is something which is taking us to our destination. So, there is a need for continuing the journey even though one feels incomplete and aimless.
