RehabTech Asia 2015 gains momentum with new supporting organisations on-board

  • (1888PressRelease) September 01, 2014 - Singapore - RehabTech Asia 2015 has gained greater momentum with leading industry associations and agency on-board as supporting organisations and strategic partners. The new supporting organisations and strategic partners are Australian Rehabilitation & Assistive Technology Association, Hong Kong Physiotherapy Association, Macau Occupational Therapists Association, Macau Physical Therapists Association, World Federation of Occupational Therapists, Association of Medical Device Industry (Singapore), Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) and Agency for Integrated Care (Singapore).

    RehabTech Asia, an exhibition on assistive technology, integrated care and rehabilitation engineering was first launched in 2013 with strong support from the healthcare industry. The inaugural show in concluded with resounding success, with 108 exhibitors and 3600 delegates and visitors from Asia participated in the exhibition and conferences.

    Lending support to Rehabtech Asia as a Strategic Partner came as a natural decision for Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) Singapore as it continues to focus on the enhancement and integration of Singapore's long-term care sector. "In the face of an ageing population in Singapore, it is pertinent for us to continually innovate and improve our practices in the long-term care sector. This event is an opportunity for the sector to share and also gain insights of the best practices of countries represented at the conference and exhibition" said Dr Wong Kirk Chuan, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of AIC Singapore.

This event caters to a niche segment of the healthcare value chain, serving as a knowledge exchange point for Asia.     In 2015, RehabTech Asia exhibition features co-located conferences and workshop, namely Singapore Rehabilitation Conference, NeuroRehabilitation Medicine & Innovation Asia Congress, RESNA Asia Pacific Conference and RESNA Fundamental Course in Assistive Technology.

    RehabTech Asia is jointly organised by SingEx Exhibition Pte Ltd and Fiera Milano. The event will be held from 26-28 March 2015 at Singapore EXPO Convention & Exhibition Centre.
