  • Birmingham, AL (1888PressRelease) October 08, 2011 - Regions Bank's Big Bike will be rolling into "The Swamp" in Gainesville this Saturday with football greats from the Southeast Conference. It's all part of the Regions Bank SEC Tour which makes its stop here on Saturday, October 1.

    The Regions Big Bike will be making a 20 plus city tour this fall, promoting ways that consumers can find help for their financial needs. In addition to information on traditional checking accounts, like Regions LifeGreen Checking, customers can also learn about personal loans, credit cards and other banking products.

Many have struggled in this economy and are looking for financial advice and guidance," said Regions Central Florida Area President Tony Stiffler.     Autograph signing at Game Day Event
    The Big Bike will be part of the welcome for SEC and Florida greats Chris Leak and Nat Moore, who will be signing autographs - from 3-5 p.m. and 5-7 p.m., respectively - at the Regions Game Day tent (located on the corner of Gale Lemerand Drive and Stadium Road) on campus before the game. It's part of a special SEC Game Day event on Sat., October 1st, leading up to the University of Florida home game against Alabama.

    In addition to the autograph signing, the special event will feature family friendly games, fun, and free stuff. All events are free to the public.

    Also at the Saturday event, attendees can register for a special SEC Championship Prize
    Package, including tickets to the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta.

    Big Bike Tour at Stops in Orlando and West Florida

    Wednesday, September 28 -- Orange and Seminole county branch stops include Lake Mary (10 a.m.) and University at Winter Park (2 p.m.). Come get a picture and register to win your own LifeGreen Regions Bike. Everyone is invited to enjoy food, fun and free activities.

    Thursday, September 29 -- First stop at Curtis Fundamental Elementary School located at 531 Beltrees Street, Dunedin, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Bankers will be on hand to present financial literacy training to the 5th grade classes and to also serve ice-cream to all students and faculty members. Students will get a chance to tour the bike and get their picture taken. The bike will also be on display at the Regions Bank located at 1042 Main Street, Dunedin, Florida from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00. Enjoy giveaways, refreshments, a chance to win door prizes and get a picture taken on the big bike.

    Friday, September 30 -- The Big Bike will visit the students at Maximo Elementary School, 4850 31st Street South, St. Petersburg, at 9:00 a.m. Bankers will be on hand to present financial literacy training to the 4th and 5th graders and to also serve ice-cream to all students and faculty members. Students will get a chance to tour the big bike and get their picture taken. The bike will also be on display at the Regions Bank located at 3401 34th Street South, St. Petersburg, Florida from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30. Enjoy giveaways, refreshments, a chance to win door prizes and get a picture taken on the big bike.
