  • (1888PressRelease) May 20, 2016 - The industry leader for environmental monitoring, asset protection and loss prevention is introducing their new line of Zigbee Wireless Modules with new radios. The new Z3 wireless modules offer many new exciting features and are a valuable transformation from the previous V.2 version. They offer greater stability of Mesh wireless infrastructure and an extended battery life. The new modules use an advanced Zigbee protocol that has been optimized for vastly more efficient communications. The more efficient protocol means that the modules spend less time awake, hence the batteries last longer. Z3 modules are approximately 25% smaller in footprint and reduce/eliminate battery alarms. There are fewer offline events and increased number of modules per network device. In addition there is greater flexibility moving equipment, faster deployment and encrypted communication. The improved battery depletion analysis and Zigbee network analysis, offer a better module that lasts longer, is more reliable, cost efficient and is smaller in size.

"The new Z3 modules are an extensive improvement from our previous V2 version. Our engineering team put a great deal of work into the Z3 modules. They also took into consideration our existing user base and made sure the existing V2 customers have a seamless path for migration to Z3. The modules have many enhancements including, improved battery life, greater stability of Mesh wireless infrastructure, smaller size and less offline events. As part of our growth, we are committed to developing products and services that are beneficial to our clients and their needs." said Michael Hanssens, Director of Business Development.
