Rallye Sirocco launches its first non-profit regularity rally in Morocco, bringing together 15 crews for a 1,035 km journey combining motorsport, cultural discovery and humanitarian solidarity.
- (1888PressRelease) October 11, 2026 - CASABLANCA, Morocco - Rallye Sirocco, a non-profit international regularity rally, will hold its inaugural edition from December 18 to 23, 2026. Bringing together 15 crews and 30 participants, the event will cover approximately 1,035 kilometres across Morocco, combining precision driving, cultural discovery and humanitarian solidarity.
Organised jointly by the Association de la Jeunesse Marocaine en France (AJMF) and ASACM in Morocco, Rallye Sirocco is designed as a regularity event rather than a speed competition. Participants will follow designated routes, maintain prescribed average speeds and respect scheduled checkpoints.
The journey begins in Marrakech and continues through the High Atlas Mountains to Ouarzazate, M'Hamid El Ghizlane, Zagora, the Drâa Valley, Taznakht and the UNESCO-listed Aït Ben Haddou, showcasing Morocco's diverse landscapes and cultural heritage.
With MG as Title Partner, participants will receive MG ZS Hybrid+ vehicles, fuel, accommodation, meals, official clothing and organised cultural activities as part of an all-inclusive experience.
Humanitarian solidarity is central to the event. Two initiatives will support 323 schoolchildren in rural Morocco, including 112 in M'Hamid El Ghizlane and 211 in Aït Ben Haddou. Part of the participation fees will contribute to these educational and social initiatives.
Under the slogan "Le Souffle du Maroc," Rallye Sirocco seeks to promote responsible tourism, international friendship and Morocco's rich cultural heritage through a distinctive motorsport experience.
