  • Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) March 02, 2011 - Raleigh Little Theatre is pleased to present the latest performance in their Youth Series, Really Rosie, March 11-27. Really Rosie will be performed in the Gaddy-Goodwin Teaching Theatre and directed by Kathleen Rudolph.

Rosie, the sassiest kid on her block, entertains herself and her friends by acting out show biz fantasies to defeat summer boredom. Rosie takes her neighborhood pals, the "Nutshell Kids," on a journey into the fantastic technicolor movie studio of her imagination as she creates the "movie of her life."

This play was conceived in 1975 when Maurice Sendak (Where the Wild Things Are) combined two of his books, The Sign on Rosie's Door and The Nutshell Library, and invited Carole King (Tapestry) to put his lyrics to music.

Tickets for Really Rosie are $13 for adults/teens and $9 for children. Tickets can be purchased online at www.raleighlittletheatre.org or from the RLT Box Office at 919-821-3111.
