Quam Joins Hong Kong Tycoons for CIHL Championship Campaign

    The Quam Hong Kong Tycoons have gotten their championship campaign off to a strong start, earning their first win of the season in the third week of the CIHL, with a dominant, high-scoring 5-2 victory over the South China Sharks. Many of the players are having strong starts their season, and the Tycoons are confident they have the talent to reach the top of the CIHL leader board.

    Having finished in fourth place last season, the Quam Hong Kong Tycoons were awarded the first overall pick for the 2012-2013 CIHL draft. Tycoons General Manager Don Ho immediately selected Maglio, with the forward joining a squad that includes two U18 players, Zac Kilbourne and Donald Chow, as well as many of the team's returning talents.

    The Quam Hong Kong Tycoons are next in action Saturday, October 20 as they look for their first win of the season against the South China Sharks at 8 p.m. at Mega Ice in Kowloon Bay.

    All games are played at Mega Ice, with a game format of three, 12-minute periods of five-on-five hockey.
