  • (1888PressRelease) October 01, 2015 - Delta Food Industries FZC recently opened its new quality control laboratory equipped with modern equipment for chemical and microbiological analysis. Additional unit of the Kjeldahl digestion for analytical chemistry and autoclave unit for sterilization were the recent addition to the lab. More equipment is arriving from Italy and Germany in the succeeding months.

The technologically advanced laboratory is part of the AED40 million-expansion program of the company. With the bigger facility, it can now accommodate analysis for different products running at the same time without out-sourcing its services; hence, reducing expenses and gaining more lead time in production period.

Local and imported raw materials undergo strict analysis to determine the presence of harmful bacteria such as e.coli and salmonella before processing. Finished products likewise pass through the QC Department before releasing.

"We are committed to deliver the best products on the market and we make sure we meet our deadlines for deliverables." Mr. Shiras Daud Osman, CEO of Delta Food Industries FZC stated.

Mr. Osman added that they are working closely with the Department of Health and other quality certifying agencies such as the HACCP, ISO and HALAL to ensure that every product that goes onto the table is of the highest standard of quality.

Delta Food Industries FZC is one of the leading food and beverage manufacturers in the UAE producing top-quality tomato paste, tomato ketchup, hot sauce, milk powder, evaporated milk, sterilized cream, cornstarch, custard powder and semolina.
