Puzzle Zoo was among 10 nominees up for the honor in the Red Tricycle 2013 Totally Awesome Awards. Puzzle Zoo, known for its eclectic mix of mainstream toys, puzzles, board games and unique collectibles, was nominated and voted for by its customers.

    "Our customers have been saying it for years and now the rest of Texas can know it as well: Puzzle Zoo is the best toy store in Dallas," said Mike Balkanli, Puzzle Zoo Marketing Director. The NorthPark Center Puzzle Zoo location was nominated in the Most Awesome Toy & Book Stores category, along with nine other stores in the area. Puzzle Zoo was also nominated for the best toy store award in Los Angeles, where it finished second in voting among all Los Angeles toy stores nominated.

    The Totally Awesome Awards are handed out by Red Tricycle and Redtri.com. Small businesses are nominated by readers in more than 25 categories, including Most Awesome Toy & Book Store, Most Awesome Family Camping Site and more. With this honor, the Dallas Puzzle Zoo location will receive a Q&A profile with Redtri.com, as well as a "Hot List" listing with the company and further acknowledgements through Red Tricycle email listings and the Redtri.com blog. Puzzle Zoo will also be listed on the best toy store awards page for one year, giving this Southern California-based small business national recognition.
