  • Chicago, IL (1888PressRelease) July 11, 2018 - Plum Grove Inc., a growing printing and marketing company based in Hoffman Estates, IL, recently expanded the size of its real estate footprint by more than 30%.

The company, located at 2160 Stonington Avenue in Hoffman Estates, already occupied 9,500 square feet in its existing building, which is home to its corporate offices, printing production, mailing department and website fulfillment services. It recently signed a lease for 3,000 sq. ft. of additional space at 2200 Stonington Avenue, the building to the north of the head office. Plum Grove moved its Trade Shows & Displays division into the new building.

The expansion has allowed Trade Shows & Displays to create a showroom space for its booth, banner and sign products. The expansion will lead to the purchase of new printing equipment and the ability to offer additional services. The company plans to purchase a new wide format printer and a flatbed cutter to expand the capabilities of the division. In addition, the higher ceilings of the new space allow easier construction of tall booths for trade shows.

The printing and mailing divisions of the company are also benefiting from the move. Using the space vacated by the trade show division, Plum Grove purchased new printing equipment. Two new Canon digital presses, one color and one black and white, can each handle twice the volume of the company’s previous equipment.

“With nearly four decades in commercial printing, we’ve learned that we continually need to re-invent ourselves and invest in technology to stay current with trends in marketing,” says Peter Lineal, founder of Plum Grove. Plum Grove is continuing its expansion into “tra-digital” offerings, a mix of traditional and new digital marketing tactics, with the acquisition of new computer servers and data storage devices to help make processes more efficient and to automate its work flow. It also has plans for several more improvements and equipment additions as it continues to grow. Other future equipment upgrades include an automated cutter, a new shrink wrap machine, a new sealing machine, and two vehicles: a delivery truck and a forklift.

Tours of the buildings that highlight Plum Grove’s equipment capabilities are offered Monday through Friday between 8am to 5pm CT.
