Print edition of wine education guide to be released

  • (1888PressRelease) December 23, 2022 - The first and only comprehensive guide to wine studies options will be in print by the end of the year and available on Amazon.

    The publisher, Hibiscus Panama, S.A., says the print edition will be available in soft cover and contains over 250 pages. Written by wine expert and educator Charlie Leary, the book provides a reference to wine education courses and degrees, mentorships, and scholarships the world over. Leary's Global Wineology is currently only available as an eBook.

    Several wine experts have reviewed the book prior to its release.

    Wine expert Jane Anson of Bordeaux, France, says: "Charlie Leary is a talented writer, and he breaks down the wine education and career development opportunities with clarity and ease. A former writer for Decanter magazine, Anson currently publishes the website Inside Bordeaux. She is widely considered the foremost expert on the region's wine.

    A member of the Circle of Wine Writers, Leary previously taught at Tulane University before commencing a career in wine and hospitality. He earned a PhD in modern Chinese history from Cornell University and has run restaurant wine programs in France, Canada, Costa Rica, and the United States.
