The Dr. Prem Reddy Family Foundation is located in Victorville, California and is on a mission to deliver quality healthcare and nurture young aspirants looking to pursue a career in medical science. It was founded in 1986 as the Desert Valley Charitable foundation after the inception of the Desert Valley Hospital, Dr. Reddy’s first attempt as a medical entrepreneur.
Sixty-four local students recently gathered at Spring Valley Lake Country Club in Victorville, CA to receive scholarships from the Dr. Prem Reddy Family Foundation. The foundation was founded by Dr. Prem Reddy, Prime Healthcare Chairman, President and CEO, and his family in 1994. Since 1994, the foundation has awarded over $1.2 million in academic scholarships.
Will Conaway, a highly-respected executive in healthcare and education, has joined Prime Healthcare as its new Chief Information Officer. Prime Healthcare is a nationally recognized health system with 45 hospitals in 14 states.
Prime Healthcare hospitals spanning six states have been named among the nation's safest hospitals, earning an “A” grade from The Leapfrog Group, a national non-profit that evaluated more than 2,500 hospitals nationwide on their quality and safety measures.
