  • Visalia-Porterville, CA (1888PressRelease) December 12, 2010 - Anyone who has tried the many costly traditional and alternative therapies to recover from the traumas of childhood abuse know firsthand they rarely provide complete and lasting relief from anxiety, depression, and stress. A new book titled Emotional Freedom Techniques for Codependency Recovery: Learn Meridian Energy Tapping to Quickly Heal Abuse and Codependency hands adult survivors of abuse the only tool they'll ever need to heal codependency issues permanently in the privacy and comfort of their own home for little or no expense. The secret? Tapping.

Written by longtime Energy Psychology Counselor, J. P. Bailey, Emotional Freedom Techniques for Codependency Recovery takes codependency sufferers step-by-step through the use of Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), as developed by Gary Craig. The book includes a handy workbook section to help readers quickly and effectively heal the deeper underlying issues and emotional blocks that prevent them from having loving relationships, free from fear, hurt, and constant emotional stress. EFT has been safely used by psychologists, coaches, and health care professionals for years to relieve mental and even physical conditions.

In addition to providing two easy tapping sequences, which can be learned and applied in a matter of minutes to quickly relieve the most pressing stressful issues, Emotional Freedom Techniques for Codependency Recovery assesses over 100 symptoms and codependent belief patterns resulting from abusive childhoods and other relationship trauma. J. P. Bailey, who has successfully used EFT in her own recovery, then gives readers a list of over 400 additional codependent traits and symptoms as statements that can be checked off as they tap their way to recovery. Another list of 495 Empowering Recovery Statements then provides life-affirming thought patterns readers can tap on to replace the negative ones. A re-assessment tool, also in the workbook, helps to track the reader's progress.
