  • (1888PressRelease) August 21, 2014 - Hollywood, CA- The album release party will be held two days prior to the release on August 24th, 2014 at Busby's East located at 5364 Wilshire Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90036. This will be a red carpet affair hosted by Teen Viner Nick Pallauf and model Plastic Martyr. Many teen celebrities are confirmed to attend. Red carpet arrivals will begin at 4pm and performances will start at 5:30.

In the past year, Breaking Tempo has become one of the top teen bands in the Southern California area. They have developed their fan base by touring high schools as well as performing at festivals, live shows, and other events. They have been part of the popular Bravefest tour and have played to crowds at iconic venues such as House of Blues, The Troubadour, The Avalon Hollywood, Beyond the Stars Palace and Studio 118 West.

Breaking Tempo has also gained a following with teen celebrities who have seen the band play at local events. "Breaking Tempo rocks! They are all incredible musicians who write awesome songs and they kill it every time I see them live. These guys are going far." said Zach Callison, who plays the character of Steven on Cartoon Network's "Steven Universe". Lauren Dair Owens of the hit Fox show "New Girl" is also a fan of the band. "Breaking Tempo has deep and edgy lyrics with a high intensity stage show to match. These guys give 100% whether they are doing a full band concert or a small acoustic set. I could watch them over and over again" said Owens.

When Breaking Tempo writes music, they like to remain ignorant to staying within the limits of one genre. No other teen band has incorporated theatric vocals, catchy melodies, rap, and hard hitting instrumentals into one cohesive sound like Breaking Tempo has. Their inspirations include but are not limited to My Chemical Romance, Panic! At the Disco, Rise Against, Fall Out Boy, and Twenty One Pilots.

Breaking Tempo will launch their "Beginning To End" local fall high school tour in early September to promote their album. A national tour is currently being planned for next spring. Not only will the tour promote their album, it will also promote the importance of making the right choices in life and staying away from substance abuse. The band members are passionate about spreading the word that you can be cool and have fun without using drugs and alcohol. Their album tells a story of what can happen when you make the wrong choices in life.
